Man surprises girlfriend with proposal during Eagles game

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA -- Love was in the air at the Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday.

Fernando Junco proposed to his girlfriend, Kelly Fitzgerald, on the sideline with a little help from Swoop.

Action News sports reporter Jamie Apody shared the couple's story on her Facebook page.

Junco is from Mexico and Fitzgerald is from Royersford, Pennsylvania.

The two met while discussing their mutual love for the Philadelphia Eagles.

Fitzgerald, who now lives in Florida with Junco, bought the tickets for him as a birthday gift.

Junco then called the team and set up the surprise proposal.
