PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A Winter Weather Advisory is posted for select counties today. Another round of snow arrives Monday.

TODAY: A winter weather advisory has been issued for areas along the Pa. Turnpike on south from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. as snow showers move through. We start the day with a peek of sun, but then quickly cloud up. High of 39 with wind chills near 30. We can expect a grassy coating to 1" along the Pa. Turnpike and points south.

TONIGHT: Lingering snow exits early, turning mainly clear. Breezy. Low in the mid-20s, untreated surfaces could turn slick.

SATURDAY: Partly sunny skies with even colder temperatures. High of just 33 with wind chills in the low 20s.

SUNDAY: Sunshine mixes with high clouds. High of 34.

MONDAY: The second chance of snow is the one of more concern, and we have already issued an AccuWeather Alert on the 7-day for Monday.

Snow will arrive before dawn and last into the first part of the day. We aren't giving exact numbers yet, but from the city on southward we could see 3" plus. The heaviest amounts right now looking to fall across Delaware and South Jersey. With temperatures at or below freezing during the event, there will be slick travel and plenty of school closings.

TUESDAY: Mostly sunny, still cold and windy. If snow is on the ground it will blow around given the fluffy consistency. High 32.

WEDNESDAY: Sunny, windy and cold, high 31.

THURSDAY: Mostly sunny and cold. High in the upper-20s.
