PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Downpours and storms are possible through tonight before cooler temperatures and more rain returns Sunday.
TONIGHT: Scattered downpours and storms will be around. Storms will be capable of producing damaging wind gusts and hail. It stays very muggy and warm overnight with temperatures in the 60s.
SUNDAY: It's looking like the rain may hold off for the start of the Independence Blue Cross Broad Street Run. It will be humid with plenty of clouds and temperatures in the mid 60s.
By mid-morning, temperatures will already be approaching 70 degrees, and showers will start developing. There will be some periods where the precipitation becomes steady and even a few rumbles of thunder can't be ruled out. The wettest period of the day will be mid-morning through early evening.
MONDAY: Rather cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms developing later in the day and at night, high 70.
TUESDAY: Clouds continue to dominate with rain and even thunderstorms possible, high 74.
WEDNESDAY: Some breaks of sun, but a stray shower can't be ruled out, high 75.
THURSDAY: Rather cloudy with late day showers around, high 73.
