PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Monday morning will be in the single digits and teens with temperatures once again struggling to get above freezing.
TONIGHT: The coldest night for Philly since January 17th. It's bitterly cold with a low of 14, many outlying areas will fall into the single digits.
MONDAY: Arctic air holds on for one more day. Temperatures stay stuck below freezing for many, high 30. It'll be just a degree or two warmer throughout South Jersey with plenty of sun for all.
TUESDAY (CHRISTMAS EVE): A weak disturbance will be passing through bringing snow showers around during the morning. Temperatures look to still be below freezing. While accumulation looks minimal, it will be enough to cause slippery conditions. The best chance of seeing a coating of snow is N/W of Philadelphia. A rain or snow shower S/E of I-95 can't be ruled out. All activity ends with the afternoon being dry with limited sun, high 39.
WEDNESDAY (CHRISTMAS): A quiet day with a mix of clouds and sun, high 39.
THURSDAY: Partly sunny and seasonable, high 40.
FRIDAY: A bit more seasonable with clouds and some sun, high 42.
SATURDAY: Mostly cloudy and milder, high 45.
SUNDAY: Rather cloudy with the chance for showers, high 49.
