PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- An additional round of storms is possible tonight, after midday storms caused flash flooding and tornado warnings.

Flash floods occur when heavy rainfall, like we experienced Friday, exceeds the ability of the ground to absorb it. They can happen with little warning, so it's important to be aware if your area is under a flash flood warning.

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy and muggy with some thunderstorms with heavy downpours, low 67.

SATURDAY: It's a warm and very humid morning as a cold front approaches. We'll be watching for the chance for a few gusty thunderstorms, mainly early in the morning. Humidity drops on the afternoon, high 87.

SUNDAY: Partly sunny, breezy and less humid, high 74.

MONDAY: Clouds mix with sunshine. It's a bit breezy at times, high 75.

TUESDAY: Breezy, but another beautiful day with plenty of sun, high 70.
