CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- The Philadelphia Parking Authority announced that reduced-rate parking will continue on Monday night following the weekend blizzard.
In a news conference on Monday afternoon, officials said the move is part of an effort to get residents to move their cars so streets can be plowed.
The rate applies for cars parked after 5 p.m. and removed by 7 a.m. Tuesday.
Those garages are:
-AutoPark at Independence Mall (5th & Market Streets)
-AutoPark at Old City (2nd & Sansom Streets)
-Philadelphia Family Court Garage (1503-11 Arch Street - Going south on 15th Street, enter the garage on the west side just after 15th & Cherry St.)
-AutoPark at Jefferson (10th and Ludlow Streets)
-AutoPark at the Gallery Mall (44 North 9th Street)
-Gateway Parking Garage (1540 Vine Street)
-AutoPark at 8th & Filbert (801 Filbert Street)
Meanwhile, following disruption over the weekend due to the storm, the city said normal trash and recycling collection will resume on Tuesday.
