Woman, 91, struck by UPS truck in Center City

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- A 91-year-old woman was struck by a UPS truck in Center City Philadelphia, authorities say.

It happened around 12:40 p.m. Thursday on the 800 block of Walnut Street.

Police say the 91-year-old was struck by the truck which was traveling westbound on Walnut Street.

The woman was taken to Jefferson University Hospital.

Her condition has not been released.

The UPS driver stayed on the scene and is cooperating with police.
