PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Residents of Philadelphia's Roxborough section gathered Tuesday to take a stand against hate, in what they say was a show of solidarity.
The Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission (PHRC) brought residents, students, officials, and advocates together to address recent acts of racist and anti-semitic graffiti.
The "No Hate in Our State" town hall took place at the Roxborough Library.
The gathering was organized in direct response to an incident last month when the graffiti was discovered on the exterior of Roxborough High School.
In a counter-response, community members covered the affected areas with positive messages of love, inclusion, and unity before students returned to class.
