The man from Orange Park, Florida, started his journey on January 1st, 2022 with his feet in the Atlantic Ocean in Jacksonville, Florida.
Months later, a 3,000 mile coast-to-coast walk landed him in Long Beach, Washington.
Feeling like he had more to give, Edwards revisited his walk and continued logging miles by foot.
That brought him to Wilmington Delaware in August 2026.
There, he visited Redemption Addiction Treatment Center and provided a motivational speech to its community.
Founded by Brandon Novak, Redemption Addiction Treatment Center provides services to those looking to leave addiction behind and start connecting with others.
The members of Redemption felt inspired to reunite with Edwards and walk a few steps alongside him.
Edwards uses his walk to raise awareness and funds for various nonprofits. Right now, he is raising funds for Never Alone Recovery.
