New sober living house opens doors to second chances in Trenton, NJ

TRENTON, New Jersey (WPVI) -- Rescue Mission of Trenton gave DeShawn Spears his second chance. Now, he's paying it forward at their newest sober living house.

Earlier this summer, Rescue Mission of Trenton opened its 7th community sober living residence on West State Street.

There, Spears lives alongside two residents to aid in their transition.

It is part of the organization's overarching goals to help individuals who have experienced homelessness, addiction, and mental health challenges.
