'Operation Mud' teaches veterans the art of ceramics in Philadelphia
Army veteran Bradford Davis created 'Operation Mud' to help veterans mold their shared experiences into ceramic works of art.

PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania (WPVI) -- When veteran Bradford Davis was injured in the Army, the scars turned him away from his love of art.

But he took the proverbial 'mud' from his boots and molded it into something amazing.

He created 'Operation Mud,' a free class in which veterans can learn the art of ceramics.

It is housed within The Clay Studio in North Philadelphia, where Davis is currently a resident artist.
