HARRISBURG, Pa. (WPVI) -- Pennsylvania State Police are set to seize skill games from businesses starting next month.
The state Supreme Couty ruled in June that both gambling laws and the criminal code apply to the machines, saying they are essentially slots.
Only licensed casinos and qualifying licensed truck stops may legally possess slot machines and gaming terminals in Pennsylvania.
The legality of the devices has been debated for years, with supporters saying they rely on skill rather than chance.
All of the games have to be removed by October 13.
