As part of the new contract, teachers will see a 3% salary bump on Monday, followed by a $1,400 bonus on October 1.
There are also 3% raises in 2026 and 2027.
The deal, reached this past Sunday, also includes paid parental leave.
The contract takes effect on Monday and lasts through August 2028.
The Philadelphia Federation of Teachers represents about 14,000 teachers.
