PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A Philadelphia Police officer is out of the hospital after being struck by a car.

The collision happened during a traffic stop in Strawberry Mansion on Friday night.

Police say officers tried to stop a car, over a report of a person with a gun at 19th and Norris streets.

Authorities say the suspect sped away, hitting two police cruisers, and an officer who was standing on the street.

That officer suffered serious injuries, but was released from the hospital Saturday.

A second officer was treated for bruises and cuts.

The car that hit them was later found in Germantown, but the person behind the wheel still hasn't been found.
