One such event will take place at the Navy Yard in Philadelphia on Saturday, September 12, 2026.
Students at St. Joseph's Preparatory School, many of which were born eight years after the tragedy, recently participated in a character development program in partnership with TMF.
Some among them are also athletes on the school's crew team.
Student athletes say their crew coach encouraged them to sign up for this year's 9/11 Heroes Run in Philadelphia.
They were recently paid a visit by Marine Corps veteran Josh Jabin, who serves as the Chief Operating Officer of the Travis Manion Foundation.
Jabin shared stories about his friend Travis and what life was like in the military after the 9/11 tragedy.
Anyone interested in registering for the 9/11 Heroes Run, finding a run in your area, or supporting the Travis Manion Foundation in general, visit their website.
