It happened sometime before 7 p.m. near the intersection of Shirley and Burlington roads in Upper Pittsgrove Township.
New Jersey State Police say a box truck struck a car and then both crashed through a fence into a residential yard.
Police confirm at least one person died but couldn't provide any further information at this time.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
