CHESTER, Pennsylvania (WPVI) -- When battling addiction, John Clifford thought his life was over. But after turning over a new leaf, he planted a seed that grew into the Greenhouse Project.

Greenhouse Project is an organization that helps people "grow in difficult places." It offers gospel-centered services such as recovery counseling, food distributions, afterschool programs, and more.

Clifford and his wife transformed two buildings on the corner of Crosby Street and E 23rd Street to make their mission possible. One building is home to their outreach mission. The other is their actual home.

Recently, they were joined by Rafferty Subaru and Operation Warm to distribute shoes and jackets.
