1 dead in Fishtown shooting

FISHTOWN (WPVI) -- A man was killed in a shooting in the Fishtown section of Philadelphia.

It happened before 3:30 a.m. Wednesday on the 1000 block of East Montgomery Avenue.

Police said the 33-year-old victim was shot in the head in the hallway of an apartment building.

The shooter remained at the scene and was taken into police custody, authorities said.

There is no information on a motive.
