Delaware officials rescue man dangling from balcony

CLAYMONT, Del. (WPVI) -- Officials in Delaware rescued a person hanging from a balcony in Claymont Sunday afternoon.

It was around 1 p.m. when police responded to the 3000 block of Society Drive.

Arriving officers observed a male hanging from a fifth floor balcony.

Both police and fire officials rescued the man by pulling him onto the fourth floor.

He was transported to Christiana Hospital for evaluation.
