There is a new push to keep New Jersey high schoolers in the state for college

CAMDEN, N.J. (WPVI) -- There is a new push to keep New Jersey high schoolers in the state for college.

"Choose New Jersey" announced the Smart Students initiative at Campbell Soup Headquarters in Camden Tuesday.

Under the program the highest academically-ranked senior at each of Newark and Camden's 44 high schools will receive a 2 thousand dollar scholarship and a paid internship for three summers.

The students just have to attend a college or university in New Jersey.
