Disney dream come true

ABINGTON, Pa. (WPVI) -- 9 year old Kaitlyn Finley was all smiles after finding out she is going to Disney World.

Cinderella helped surprise her with the news at Regina Coeli Academy in Abington.

The wish granting Sunshine Foundation helped plan Kaitlyn's trip, made possible by a fundraiser at the school, and contributions from the Exelon Corporation.

Kaitlyn was diagnosed with cerebral palsy and recently had surgery, but her parents say knowing they had this to look forward to made the recovery so much easier.

Jen Finley welcomed this gift, "We never thought we would be able to get them to Disney um just with all the medical struggles and everything else, like i said it couldn't have come at a more perfect time."

Kaitlyn Finley was equally thankful, "I feel really excited and happy that i'm able to go to Disney world."

The family took home a 5 thousand dollar check to cover their vacation.
