Police: 16-year-old shoots 13-year-old in stomach

NORTH PHILADLEPHIA (WPVI) -- A 13-year-old boy was shot by a 16-year-old boy in North Philadelphia in what police are calling an accidental shooting.

The shooting occurred shortly before 8:00 p.m. Monday on the 3600 block of North Marvine Street.

According to preliminary investigation, police say the 16-year-old boy accidently shot the 13-year-old boy twice in the stomach.

The victim is in stable condition at Temple University Hospital.
