Bicyclist ambushed and shot in Point Breeze section of Philadelphia

POINT BREEZE (WPVI) -- The search is on for the gunmen who ambushed a man who was riding his bike in the Point Breeze section of Philadelphia.

This happened around 12 a.m. Wednesday at South 16th and Latona streets.

Police say at least two men shot a 28-year-old man several times.

He was taken to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in critical condition.

Investigators are working to determine who shot the man and why.
