Company posts everyone's salary

It's widely considered one of the most taboo questions: Asking someone how much they make.

Well, what if you didn't have to ask? What if you knew the exact salaries of all of your co-workers?

That's what the upper brass at the social-sharing start-up Buffer did.

They say it's all about keeping everything out in the open.

The company says "There's no reason to hide anything. It keeps us honest and makes us live up to a higher standard."

They say the public spreadsheets of salaries are also the ultimate motivators, keeping employees determined to get to the next level.
