TRENTON, N.J. -- For three decades, Action News New Jersey correspondent Nora Muchanic and photographer Andy Doane have worked side-by-side on nearly every assignment. In a little over a month, the talented combo will leave our Trenton bureau together for the last time.
Nora started at Action News 31 years ago, reporting on everything in New Jersey - from hurricanes to kissing animals.
Along the way she's seen the news business change from just TV, and has become one of our region's most savvy social media news contributors. She's been excellent at adapting throughout her career.
Andy started at the station back in 1977 - 40-years ago - and moved to the Trenton Bureau a couple of years later. He began working with Nora back in 1987.
Together, Nora and Andy have provided the Delaware Valley with exceptional news coverage. Not only do they work well together, but after all this time the two still like each other, and more importantly, respect one another.
We here at Action News are sad to see this tremendous team go, but boy, do they deserve the great things that retirement holds in store for them.
As our News Director Tom Davis put it, Nora and Andy are "a once in a lifetime combo!"
Thank you for your contribution, and helping build what Action News is today.
