Customer attacked in South Philadelphia deli; 2 suspects sought

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are asking the public to help them identify two men who attacked a customer in a South Philadelphia deli.

Investigators released video from inside the Le Lai Deli, on South 23rd Street, back on October 29.

It shows two men attacking the victim with their fists and a pistol.

One of the assailants even stomped on the man's head while he was on the ground.

Police say the victim exchanged words with a woman shortly before the attack. She allegedly called for backup, triggering the assault.
