Ohio State University has accused 83 undergraduates of using the mobile app Whatsapp to cheat on classwork.

The school says the students violated the code of conduct for "unauthorized collaboration on graded assignments."

A professor in the business school first reported the problem back in April.

Penalties for violating the code of conduct range from warnings to expulsion.
