Big donation helps East Falls students with school supplies

EAST FALLS (WPVI) -- The world will be a bit more colorful at one East Falls elementary school thanks to a big donation.

The Thomas Mifflin Elementary School received $6,000 worth of new school supplies thanks to a donation from EJ Long.

He's president of Long Financial Group.

The school is getting new paper, art supplies, and ink.

In light of budget shortfalls at Philadelphia public schools, the donation is an example of the community helping students.
