A suggested back to school sleep chart is being shared on Facebook at record speed.

A Wisconsin elementary school posted it as a sort of helpful guide to shut-eye, but moms and dads are scoffing at it like crazy - calling the recommendations ridiculous and not feasible in the real world.

The chart shows suggested sleeping hours for kids 5-12.

It suggests if your child is 5 and needs to wake up a 6 a.m., he or she should be in bed by 6:45 p.m. For 8-year-olds, bedtime is 7:30 p.m.

Parents say between work schedules, dinner, homework and the like, a bedtime in the 6:00 or 7:00 hour is not realistic.

Experts say no matter what works for your family, just make sure your kid gets enough sleep to rested up for school.
