PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A new movie was used to deliver a tasty lesson about food Wednesday night.

After a special screening of "The Hundred Foot Journey" at the Prince Music Theater, top chefs talked about the way nations and cultural groups define themselves with food and how food can also be used to bridge cultural gaps.

The movie focuses on French and Indian restaurant owners who despise each other at first, but later learn how to get along.

At the end of the panel, host Marc Summers presented Marc Vetri with a donation to his foundation.

"The Hundred Foot Journey" is distributed by Disney's Touchstone Pictures, the parent company of 6abc.
