PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia comedian Kevin Hart is preparing for what could be his biggest tour ever and he's hoping to make history with Lincoln Financial Field as the final stop.

"This is my Eagles paraphernalia. I'm fully in Eagles mode right now, I'm all Philadelphia," said Hart.

Hart sat down with Action News representing his hometown and talking all things Philly - and of course there were plenty of laughs.

"First and foremost I want to let the world know I am 5'5"," said Hart.

We talked with him at Lincoln Financial Field inside the Eagles locker room. It's a space that he will use as a backstage dressing room come this summer for his 'What Now Tour.'

The U.S. tour of nearly 50 cities kicks off in April and it will end in Philadelphia on August 30th.

It will be the first time the comedian has played out at an NFL Stadium.

Hart said he wanted to raise his own bar.

"I said I wanted to do one stadium and that stadium will be the Lincoln Financial Field," he said.

Hart is fresh off the red carpet after making his first appearance at the Oscars.

The comedic genius says he has aspirations to host Hollywood's biggest event.

"It's only right. You can't deny it. It's something I want to do, something I can be able to do to show that I can be comfortable anywhere," said Hart.

Hart got emotional during his sold-out performance at Madison Square Garden in 2012.

"I can't - all I know is I can't cry on stage again they'll say it was fake the first time. You can't put it into words. I know I'm blessed and have best fans," said Hart.

Tickets are already on sale for Hart's 'What Now Tour.'

Hart says it will be the last time he turns his comedy show into a movie and says it's going to be epic.
