J.K. Rowling to release new 'Harry Potter' writing 12 days leading up to Christmas

J.K. Rowling will be releasing new "Harry Potter" stories and content the 12 days leading up to Christmas.

Brace yourselves, "Harry Potter" fans, because something wicked awesome is coming your way this Christmas.



Pottermore, the "Harry Potter" official website, announced that starting on December 12, new content from the wizardry world would be released, including new writing from J.K. Rowling.





Pottermore told fans what they can expect from the Christmas reveal:



"We're feeling extra generous this year, so we're bringing you early gifts this Christmas. Starting Friday, December 12, we'll be releasing a festive surprise for you every day at 1pm GMT (8am EST).

With wonderful writing by J.K. Rowling in Moments from Half-Blood Prince, shiny gold Galleons and even a new potion or two, make sure you don't miss out - just visit pottermore.com and answer our rhyming riddles to unwrap a #PottermoreChristmas surprise every day.
"



According to The Telegraph, one of those pieces will focus on Draco Malfoy, Harry's long time rival.



Rowling also released new "Harry Potter" content this past Halloween, with a tale focusing on Dolores Umbridge, one of the most menacing characters from the wizardry universe.
