Kanye West has released a new single with former Beatle Paul McCartney, but the duet left some fans confused.

The song called "Only One" is an emotional tribute to Kayne West's daughter, North.

But, the joining of the two music icons from two different generations apparently served as an introduction to some fans.

Some tweets about the song included "Who is Paul McCartney?"

Another tweeted "I love Kanye for shining light on unknown artists."

And another: "I don't know who Paul McCartney is, but Kanye is going to give this man a career w/ this new song."

McCartney and the Beatles are, of course, the best-selling band in history.
