Watch the report from Action News' Sharrie Williams

There's been another recent baby boom in the Action News family and we're pleased to give you an up-close look at some of the newest little bundles of joy.

First up to bat is the newest arrival of Chase Alexander on April 19th.

This is boy number two for sports anchor Jamie Apody and her husband, Paul.

"You realize that we gave him his best friend and that's when it gets exciting, it's pretty special," said Jamie.

And as you can imagine the sibling antics started on day one.

"He goes up to him and gets very excited, tries to kiss him and then he pokes him in the face," said Jamie.

She assures us that big brother Tanner does love his little sibling.

"He'll say, 'Chase! Chase!' and he'll randomly go up to him and touch him in the head and give him a blanket," said Jamie.

As far as being the only female in the house, Jamie says that's okay with her.

"We have this house full of boys, it's pretty cool, I like it," she said.

"She's outnumbered," said Paul.

Consumer reporter Nydia Han also welcomed a boy on April 4th.

Little Harrison is the second child for Nydia and her husband Dennis.

Both say that with them being only children, it makes their family extra special.

"You know we feel really blessed to have a boy and a girl. Our family does feel very complete now," said Nydia.

She says the second time around has been remarkably relaxing.

"I don't know, everything's just been really easy and it almost makes me wonder why I was so stressed out the first time," said Nydia.

And how is 2-year-old big sister, Sabine, handling the new addition?

"Sabine loves her brother so much but she doesn't know her own strength so her hugs are these big bear hugs so it's a little much for a little guy," she said.

Next is Priscilla Isabelle, born January 24th.

Priscilla is the first child for Action News at 4 anchor Alicia Vitarelli and her husband Matt.

Alicia says these past few weeks have been hard, exhausting and pure bliss as she gets to know the baby she affectionately calls her 'little meatball.'

"I mean you don't get paid for it, you don't sleep, you're on your feet all day and you don't even mind a second, it's absolutely unbelievable," she said.

Alicia is now back from maternity leave and talked to us about that preparation.

"When I look at all the women around me, especially in the newsroom, who manage to balance a career and family and it's working and they're doing it, I know it's possible," said Alicia.

The ladies weren't the only ones welcoming new babies.

From Action News mothers to Action News fathers, sports director Ducis Rodgers and his wife Diana welcome their son Dylan Mac on January 7th.

Ducis and his wife have double the fun. Along with baby Dylan they also have Devin Beau who turns two in September.

"He's often anxious to see what his little brother is doing," said Ducis.

Ducis proudly calls his family of four the absolute joys of his life.
