VIDEO: Kids try 'adulting'
Some of the children of Action News employees recently visited Action News and got a taste of what it was like to be an adult.

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- 'Adulting', a buzzword amongst millennials, means to do grownup things, take care of mundane but essential tasks, and be a generally responsible person.

To adults, these are responsibilities we do not usually have to think about while completing. So, we decided to have a little fun with our own kids.

Some of the children of Action News employees recently visited the station and got a taste of what it was like to be an adult.

They spent a whole day at Action News and shadowed their parents.

We later asked the kids to tie a tie, try coffee, write a grocery list, and even pick a life insurance policy.

Although coffee is a morning staple that many adults cannot live without, one middle schooler says coffee "poisons your tongue and takes it over."

Another boy spits out the coffee after taking a big gulp.

Turning to the question of what to put on your shopping list, another child says, "one thousand sticks of butter."

Enjoy!
