Woman celebrates 109th birthday with boat ride

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- When you're turning 109-years-old you should do whatever your heart desires.

For Marion Roth of Newtown Square it was to take a ride on a boat. Roth has seen a lot in her lifetime, but she had never been on a boat.

Thursday she got all dressed up and celebrated her big day with loved ones while cruising on board the Spirit of Philadelphia.

We wish her the happiest of birthdays.
