Flawless skin can cost a pretty penny but a new app can help you save hundreds on skincare and it doesn't cost a dime.
It's called the "Skinbetter" app and the best part - it's free!
The founders partnered with Allure magazine, providing a free, personalized evaluation.
All you have to do is snap a picture.
"You take a selfie of your face. An algorithm then gives you a grade for your skin as well as products that are right for you," said Linda Wells, Allure magazine editor-in-chief.
The app then suggests different creams and serums that fit your needs.
Allure agrees that the app is not your doctor or a substitute for a dermatologist but say it's a great way to become more educated about your skin.
One note, the app does get compensation for the products it recommends, so some of them can be pricy, but they do offer alternatives.
