Stephanie Giese is a mom of three and wrote a post last month called "A Target Intervention on Behalf of My Daughters."

She says the clothes were getting smaller and smaller when the sizes were supposed to increase.

She says girls shorts in size 5T at Target are actually smaller than many size 2T shorts made by other brands.

ABC News investigated and found that the girls' clothes were tighter and more body hugging than the boys' - and nearly three inches shorter!

When officials from Target saw Giese's post, they reached out to her directly - sending her samples and asking her for feedback.
