Fire under control in Parkside

PARKSIDE (WPVI) -- Firefighters battled a fire in the Parkside section of Philadelphia.

IT happened around 4:45 a.m. Thursday on the 4900 block of Kershaw Street.

Responding firefighters were met with heavy flames.

A short time later, they were able to get the scene under control.
