Gunfire leads to police pursuit in Tioga-Nicetown

TIOGA-NICETOWN (WPVI) -- One person is in custody and police are searching for a second in connection to a shooting in Philadelphia's Tioga-Nicetown section.

Police tell Action News the shots were fired around 10:45 p.m. Friday near 24th and Allegheny.

At least one house was hit by the gunfire.

SEPTA Police heard the gunfire and chased the suspects to 21st and Westmoreland, where they were able to catch up to one of them.

No injuries were reported.
