VIDEO: Beat deafness blamed for bad dancing
A new study suggests there's a genetic disorder that affects how people synchronize with the sounds they hear.

It appears there really is a reason why some people just can't dance.

A new study shows there's a disorder called "beat deafness" that affects how people synchronize with the sounds they hear.

But a select few were unable to adapt when the tempo changed.

That, researchers say, indicated they lacked the natural biological rhythm necessary to match the beat.
