CEO pays employees to workout

Would you be more motivated to workout if your boss was paying you to hit the gym?

The CEO of energy bar company, Clif Bar, hopes his employees will be.

"Clif Bar and Company" head, Kevin Cleary, offers workers two and a half hours of company time a week to exercise in the on-site gym.

That's 30 minutes a day of work time.

Staffers are also encouraged to switch off completely after working hours and won't get a response from their CEO after 6:30 p.m.

Cleary says creating a work-life balance is key for healthy, happy employees.
