VIDEO: New teething warnings
New warnings for parents of newborns trying to sooth their babies who are teething.

The FDA is also warning parents of teething babies to steer clear of prescription or over-the-counter medications.

The agency says most aren't safe for infants - and experts say they really don't work that well.

They say rubbing or massaging your child's tender gums can help.

Or let the baby gnaw on a cold wash cloth or a teething ring that's been in the fridge, not the freezer.
