VIDEO: Women's Running magazine puts pluz-size model on cover
The cover of next month's Women's Running magazine won't look like its past issues.

The cover of next month's Women's Running magazine won't look like its past issues - or like the covers of most fitness magazines, for that matter.

The new issue will feature plus-sized model and real-life runner, Erica Schenk.

The magazine tells ABC News the 18-year-old was initially supposed to be part of a story on plus-size athletic lines, but they were so pleased with Schenk, they made her the cover model.

And it's not just the editors who are loving her. People are flooding social media to celebrate their choice, saying Schenk is helping to dispell the myth that women with curves can't or shouldn't run.

Schenck says her message is that running is for everybody, anytime.
