A Massachusetts man has been fitted with what's considered the most advanced bionic hand available.

Mike Benning lost his left arm below the elbow to an aggressive form of cancer when he was a teenager.

Over the decades he's tried a lot of prosthetics, but none as high tech as the i-limb Quantum.

It can be linked to an app through Bluetooth, allowing Benning to text and make custom grip patterns ranging from handshakes to gestures like sign language to say I love you".

He can also do every day things like drive a car, type an email and help around the house by folding laundry.
