VIDEO: New report says BPA in food no danger to any age
We've been told to steer clear of the chemical BPA, but now a report says that may not be necessary.

PARMA, Italy (WPVI) -- We've been told to steer clear of the chemical BPA, but now a report says that may not be necessary.

Europe's food safety watchdog says people of any age - including unborn children - don't get enough Bisphenol-A in things like bottles or cans to harm them.

Previous studies linked BPA to cancer, heart disease, infertility, and other ailments.

In the U-S, B-P-A has been banned from baby bottles and toys.

But the FDA also says BPA in low levels is safe.

But there are still questions about using it to coat some cash register receipts and whether that can create problems when exposed through the skin.
