VIDEO: 2nd Yardville student tests negative for Enterovirus
Authorities said it was NOT Enterovirus D68.

HAMILTON TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- Tests now show a second child at a Mercer County school did not have the virus which killed a schoolmate.

A second child at Yardville Elementary got sick shortly after 4-year-old Eli Waller died. Authorities wondered if the child also had Enterovirus D68.

Today, they said it was NOT the same virus.

Tabitha Vassey's son spent four days in intensive care with breathing trouble. He attended morning classes in the same room Eli Waller was in during the afternoon.

But tests from the CDC ruled out Enterovirus D68.
