Man, 24, shot multiple times in Strawberry Mansion

STRAWBERRY MANSION -- Police say a 24-year-old man was shot multiple times in Philadelphia's Strawberry Mansion neighborhood.

It happened around 7 p.m. Saturday on the 2800 block of Huntingdon Street.

The victim was shot twice in the back and once in the pelvis.

Medics took the victim to Temple University Hospital where he is listed in critical condition.

Police say the victim and another man were chatting outside a grocery store when the suspect walked up and opened fire. He then fled the scene.

The other man was not injured.

Police believe the victim was targeted, but they don't know why.
