Man found shot to death in Overbrook section of Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are investigating a murder in the city's Overbrook section.

Officers arrived in the 2000 block of North 62nd Street near Lebanon Avenue at 5:12 a.m. Wednesday.

They found a man believed to be in his 60s who had been shot once in the chest.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators are working to determine who shot him and why.
