NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police said one man was killed in an accident in Northeast Philadelphia late Monday afternoon.

According to investigators, a 40-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene of the multi-vehicle accident.

It happened around 4:50 p.m. in the northbound inner lanes of Bustleton Avenue near Grant Avenue.

Police said a 41-year-old woman and an 11-year-old boy were also injured in the crash; both were transported to Aria-Jefferson Health Torresdale in stable condition.
